Free ride for FUDGE!!

July 12th, 2010

The Main Stream Media (MSM) is at it again.

Does anybody remember the cries of foul when the NDP fudged the deficit figures so very long ago?

Well the Liberals are getting a free ride in the media and it’s being noticed by the Tyee, an online periodical with a large following.

This is fiscal mismanagement at it’s worst.

Then ad to this the statements by the Finance Minister that the mailouts and ads on the radio are necessary to counter the so-called misleading statements made by Anti-HST forces around the province.

Okay Finance Minister, HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST BC???  Huggie Hansen does not know.  You’re the finance minister, a businessman, and you don’t know???

No wonder the Province of BC is teetering on insolvency.

BC Refederation suggests a forensic audit of BC’s books to find out the truth of how far the Liberals have sunk us in the hole.

Owe-lympic debt is costing us billions when Campbell promised us 6oo Million.

Trade and Convention Center was nearly a billion dollars and is largely unbooked.  A bigger white elephant than the Fast Cats.  The cost overrun on this facility dwarfed the Fast Cats by double!!

They have made contractual obligations equal to $53 Billion.

These are the fiscal giants who you elected  (if you voted for them or didn’t bother to vote).  These guys are mismanaging BC.

I am honestly afraid to promise anything based on these reports.

But what I can promise,  is an end to rule by UNCONTROLLED POLITICIANS.

Direct Democracy in the first sitting as government.

A committee of Citizens to draft a no holds barred constitution of and by the people.

Renegotiation of things federal which directly impact on the sovereignty of BC.  It’s time BC got a fair shake within Confederation.

Join BC Refederation today.  And make as large a donation as you can.  We need to get ready for the next elections.  By-elections resulting from Recalls.  And of course the next general election.

It’s on! April 6th start!

February 6th, 2010

It’s on for an April 6th start date.

We are moving down the road organizing captains and regional  overseers to get this done. Volunteers are stepping up to collect signatures.  It is a thrill to see BC fighting back.

So we get the signatures.  What next?

Premier Campbell can introduce legislation.  Or he can send it to a province wide referendum. One columnist by the name of Smyth says it is possible but the hurdle is great with a needed 50% in 2/3 of the constituencies voting for it.  Give me a break!!!  With HST sitting is 85% against, this should not be a question.

The real question is whether Campbell is prepared to face certain recall campaigns if he doesn’t obey the people.

This is a no win for Campbell.  1. Constitutional challenge declares the agreement illegal.   2. The initiative petition goes ahead and he stubbornly continues on with it.  Ignoring the voices of the people.   3. It’s taken to a vote, and will pass. He still chooses to ignore the people.

THE END OF THE BC LIBERAL PARTY.

The people of BC are ready for the democratic proposals of BC Refed.  BC Refed is at the forefront in this campaign, identifying our party as a supporting this effort.

Which other party does this?

We believe the people should have the right to automatically force any legislation to a referendum IF THEY WANT ONE.  We don’t proposed to govern by referendum. We propose controlling government by referendum.

But either way, the Liberals have damaged themselves with arrogance.

BC Refed is ready to step in.

Premier confident province can weather economic storm

So goes the headline in the Prince George Citizen newspaper.

Of course anything Gordon Campbell says can be taken to the bank too Right?  And the Olympics is only costing BC $600 million. Not the nearly $7 BILLION last speculated by many economists.

And the province still owns the BCR right, don’t we? And CN only has a 900 odd year lease on it right?

Remember the 3P twinning of the Port Mann? Well, maybe not.  BC could be entirely on the hook for this soon to be toll bridge. But as reported on the news, BC’s budget will be stretched to the limit by the enormous debt load dropped on it by the BC Liberals.

But not to worry. All Gordo has to do is sell off a couple more bits of our forefather’s legacy to us and we have paid for it all.

If only Campbell could figure out how to sell BC Hydro to his friends. I wonder if Paul Nettleton gets a Christmas card after blowing the whistle on plans to sell Hydro?

And what if Campbell could find a way to get cents on the dollar for ICBC. I’m sure one of his buddies would pony up 10 or so cents on the dollar for ICBC and all of its assets…

To say that Gordon Campbell is untrustworthy might be understated some?
