Dennis Shaw is an ex military and a retired teacher, and one of the founders of the party. He operates a small organic farm in Nanaimo BC








Mel Garden is a retired businessman in the Comox Valley. He joined the Party in 2004 and took over membership and district development in anticipation of the 2005 election. From that experience he has been working on developing strategy for 2009, and assisting the policy committee. Establishing regular communications with members and the media to 'spread the message' has been his major objective to date.

Bruce Rider
was born in Port Alberni, Bruce is a former Nanaimo School Trustee. He has experience in various retail management positions and is now a small
business owner.







Mike Summers from Vanderhoof was born and raised in Duncan. He has
worked primarily in transportation industry since the construction
downturn of the 80's. Mike is coping with MS and seeks to serve as best
as he can for as long as he can.  He has always had a keen interest in
politics and is thankful for the opportunity presented by the BC
Refederation Party.






Suzanne Arntson id the Chairwoman of Native Affairs:
First Nations land claims, settling Treaty 8, and interest in developing
First Nations Self Government are a part of the B.C. Refederation
Party's position. Through consultation with First Nations
representatives, this position will be taken to policy once voted in as
representative and MLA of Peace River/ North.







Ingrid Murray recently joined the BCRefed Team to advise the executive of the Party in the implementation of administrative changes to our organization. She has an extensive career as a Business Analyst and, in IT Management. Her excellent business acumen combined with a solid information technology background will also bring to the Party the ability to improve and bridge communications to the members and the public.
