Switzerland is the only country in the world where the citizens have control of their government.

A Swiss mother recently used her right as a citizen to force the federal government to pass legislation.  Her daughter was raped, strangled and left for dead.  The mother initiated a national petition to mandate “imprisonment for life for sexual and violent criminals who cannot be cured”.

The Swiss federal government recommended rejection of the initiative, and tried several times to get the mother to drop her petition. But a double majority (of the people and of the Swiss provinces) voted in favor of the initiative. Now the Federal government must change the law to comply. Only a BC Refederation government in Victoria will give British Columbians the right to control government in that way.

Think BC Refed.
